Reason #27 Why Having a Preschooler Rocks

I had the pleasure of spending an entire half hour this morning giggling, while practicing nose (Eskimo) kisses, butterfly kisses, and bunny kisses with Katie.

Seriously…it just doesn’t get much better than that.

  1. That sounds like wonderful balance and a wonderful morning, what a sweetie!

    • I’m pretty sure that there is nothing sweeter than hearing your child giggle and knowing that you’re the one who coaxed it out. Such a happy morning!

  2. That sounds like perfection!

  3. Awww! Those are the best!!!!!

What a wonderful time. I love how you recognized the importance of that moment (half hour!) right away. I almost missed that true importance the other day…not that I didn’t have fun but… Keelie and I were sitting on the couch together “pretending” to take a nap and ended up laughing, for one reason or another, for quite awhile. The very next day Keelie said wistfully, “Mommie, do you remember when we were together on the couch and just laughed and laughed? We were cracking each other up! Ahhh, I really loved that time, didn’t you? I just thought it was the best.” I didn’t realize HOW precious that time of laughter was until she said that…and yes, I really loved it – totally and forever. 🙂
